The Domus Pacis Family Respite, a Breckenridge, Colorado based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has the potential to make a difference in the lives of numerous families every year. Our goal is to conquer the logistical hurdles necessary to bring a family, including the member experiencing a traumatic illness, together.

The Domus Pacis Family Respite program relies on the use of donated resort homes, as well as the giving nature of volunteers. The Board of Directors designated Summit County in Colorado as the initial respite community; the hosting of families began in June, 2008.
